Q: What does Cabinet Report cost?
A: District-wide access is $40.00 per month. The monthly rate is based on a one year subscription. Simply complete the Subscription Request Form. You will have immediate access and a service agreement will be mailed to the district within one week.
Q: How many district employees does my subscription include?
A: Any interested district personnel may access the site, provided they have a district issued email address (i.e. district_employee@district.k12.ca.us).
Q: Do I have to work at a school district to subscribe to Cabinet Report?

A: There is no other source covering daily developments of K-12 issues from the Legislature, the governor’s office, the state Board of Education, Teacher Credentialing Commission and the Office of Public School Construction and other state agencies.
Q: Who are your writers?
A: Cabinet Report’s teams of professional journalists are lead by Tom Chorneau who was the senior capitol correspondent for the San Francisco Chronicle. He has spent more than twenty years as a political and government reporter for a number of news organizations including the Associated Press and the Los Angeles Daily News. He has received a number of awards over the years including first prizes from the California Newspaper Publishers Association and the Best of the West regional journalism competition. Mr. Chorneau is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach.
